Today was President’s Day and we didn’t have to work, yay! Mike made one of our most favorite meals out of the America’s Test Kitchen cookbook, chicken and dumplings. It takes a while to make (hence why it was easier to make for dinner on a holiday), but it is absolutely worth it!

Tonight while we were getting dinner ready, Samatha picked up a pair of sunglasses and her harmonica and started playing. This was completely unprovoked. I thought it was hilarious that she looked like she was playing the blues.
After an afternoon of running errands, we enjoyed dinner with my Mom and Stepdad. I made chicken pot pie ravioli, so good! We got to enjoy this delicious Italian wine with our dinner.
Two of my favorite things…a Starbucks green tea latte and Target! It’s funny what makes us happy as we get older. I was completely thrilled to have an hour or so to myself to go shopping 🙂
Nicholas brought his Valentine’s in to school today and got all of these cute ones in return!
Tomorrow is Nicholas’s Valentine’s Day party at school. I made these cool Valentine’s with lollipops. Thank you Pinterest for this idea!
Happy Birthday to my hubby (and his twin sister)! Tonight we went out for dinner at a delicious Italian restaurant. They have the best bread!
Today we had another, smaller, snow storm. It started coming down pretty fast in the early afternoon, so I decided to work the rest of the day from home. It’s always a little tricky trying to get the kids to stay quiet while I work, but they did pretty well today with their individual activities.
It’s Super Bowl Sunday! For the game, I made wings with this sriracha BBQ sauce. It was amazing! We kept the sriracha theme going with sriracha hummus and pita chips. Delicious 🙂
I got to have some auntie cuddles this afternoon with this little love bug. Violet fell asleep while drinking her bottle. She is so sweet 😊
